With the help of our community, the Redwood Empire Food Bank is now operating out of its new home! The Brickway facility is more than a building -- it's a hub of food distribution for Sonoma County and beyond. Come celebrate with us and learn about the innovative programs we are developing to end hunger in our community.

There's an absolutely AMAZING global "Happening" ocurring Friday - Sunday, Sept 27-29. It's called "100 Thousand Poets for Change." Communities ALL OVER THE WORLD are gathering together to speak, share, sing, play music, dance and unite for positive change in the world.
In Sonoma County, there will be a massive glorious march and a BIG DANCE PARTY at the Arlene Francis Center. The Linda Ferro Band has been invtied to perform Saturday night to help kick-off the dance party.

This is a benefit concert for the nonprofit Inter-Faith Shelter Network (ifsn.org) which helps provide services and housing to local homeless men, women and children, as well as provide underprivileged youth with music/dance lessons. $8 cover charge.

Carter (Trailer Park Rangers) Danny Sorentino (The Sorentinos), Alison Harris and Linda Ferro .Each songwriter presented 1 song in rotation, repeated x 4. Then intermission and repeat pattern!

After a very successful inaugural event, the date for the second annual Cloverdale Harvest Marathon has been set, and our band has been asked by the Kiwanis to return to perform for this event next year (which we are very happy about!) We are honored to support this group of dedicated community members, working to improve and raise awareness of homelessness in Sonoma County.
This event featured the debut of my original song, "Home-less" that I wrote several years ago. It means so much to me that this Agency endorses the sentiments expressed in my song, and that I had the opportunity to offer another way to raise awareness - through music!
We warmly thank the Task Force for the Homeless for selecting our band for this important event.

We have had the honor of entertaining Cloverdale folks on the Fourth of July at 2 different homes (alternating each year) over the course of many years. We treasure this "call-back" history and are grateful for being selected year after year.

Very Exciting News: Our band been selected to be featured on a 2-CD compilation called "Real Music" put on by Oliver's Market and Frank Hayhurst. Our original song, "Not Him Again," will be on this CD. As part of Oliver's Market's "A Taste of Sonoma" we will perform for the CD release party included in this event. Proceeds of CD sales go to The Redwood Empire Food Bank.
