Here's a quick summary of our Tradewinds gig: (I'll start at the end) At 1:40 a.m. a representative of a nicely rowdy bridal after-party put a handful of bills on my keyboard and asked us to play an encore. (I guess using the tip jar nearby wouldn't have made such a strong point) After that song, more bills on the keyboard. Another encore. What could I do? We'd been there since 7:30 earlier that night and we were a bit fried, but there was really a big crowd of happy campers and they just didn't want to end the night.
I must say, it was a little sweet/odd playing in a bar with the wedding couple all in white, and having them dance by themselves in the middle of the dancefloor.
That's what's great about the Tradewinds. You never know what to expect.

Please visit Women of Substance Radio, broadcasting from Live365.com.
In addition to several original Blues tunes they have played on this station, my song, "Please, Peace" was on the playlist for Tuesday, Sept 21, on the program, "What's On My Ipod" beginning at 1 pm PDT.
Also, this song was included on the playlist for the program, "Piano Ballads." Many thanks to WOS radio!
THANK YOU EVERYONE!
